Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our EdTech company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, building partnerships, and expanding the company's presence in the education sector. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to support our mission of empowering students to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.

Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and other educational institutions.

Promote the company’s products and services to potential clients, demonstrating their value and benefits.

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that generate leads and drive engagement.

Meet and exceed sales targets by closing deals and securing partnerships.

Provide feedback to the product development team based on client and market insights.

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the EdTech or education sector.

Strong understanding of the education market and customer needs.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Fluency in English and local languages (Kannada preferred).
