Designation : Academic Coordinator


 

Job Summary:


 

The Academic Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the academic operations of the institution. This includes managing curriculum development, student services, faculty support, and the overall administration of academic programs. The coordinator ensures that academic activities are aligned with the institutions goals and standards and works to provide the best learning environment for students.


 

Key Responsibilities:


 

  • Curriculum and Program Development: Collaborate with faculty and department heads to develop, revise, and improve academic programs and curricula in line with institutional standards.
  • Student Support: Assist students with academic advising, course selection, and any academic-related issues. Provide guidance on program requirements, course prerequisites, and academic policies.
  • Faculty Coordination: Serve as a liaison between faculty and administrative offices. Assist with faculty training, orientation, and scheduling. Support faculty in the development and delivery of academic content.
  • Data Management: Collect and analyze academic performance data to identify trends and suggest improvements. Maintain records of student performance, grades, and attendance.
  • Business Development: Expertise in identifying opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and innovative strategies to enhance the institution's academic offerings and market presence.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure academic programs meet accreditation standards and comply with relevant regulations and institutional policies.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate course schedules, ensuring that classes are offered in a way that meets student demand and faculty availability.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with students, faculty, and staff regarding academic events, changes to programs or schedules, and any other relevant updates.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on academic activities, performance, and trends for senior management or accreditation bodies.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing academic events, such as workshops, conferences, or orientation sessions for new students.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve academic concerns or conflicts among students or faculty.


 

Qualifications:


 

Education: Bachelors degree in Education, Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).


 

Location : Kozhikode, Kollam, Kondotty, Kottakal, Alappuzha,Thiruvalla,Neyyattinkara.
